Thomas Rousvoal is a Franco-Canadian actor, director, and producer who began his career in North America.
Represented by Sandy Martinez (Martinez Creative Management) in Montreal, he creates his own opportunities by self-producing his films, which has allowed him to develop a distinctive creative approach.
Writing his own projects gives him the chance to explore the psychology of the characters he portrays. Trained in improvisational theater, he learned the importance of letting go, and later refined his craft at Danielle Fichaud’s school (Aline film).
He has acted in several short films and series, always seeking to reinvent himself.
His work has been showcased at numerous international festivals. He co-produced, directed, and played the lead role in Roy: A Brother’s Journey, a Canadian winter western. More recently, he co-directed Cobalt, a chamber piece selected at the Fantasia Festival.
A graduate in Art & Cinema, Thomas also co-directed L’Or Bleu, an award-winning animated film that marked his first steps in animation. Splitting his time between Paris and Montreal, he is currently developing a television series while continuing to seek new creative perspectives.
Recently, he appeared in the series Bon Cop Bad Cop, and is now preparing his latest creation as co-director, writer, and actor: a web mini-series entitled Chip, alongside David La Haye and Léane Désilet.
